Have any of you been cleaned out or had your endo removed completely? What was your experience with it? When I had my lap done by my OB, she found the endo and didn't try to remove any. She just stitched me back up and reffered me to a specialist for more surgery. The specialist refuses to do any surgeries except for the hysterectomy when I'm ready.
I've read about women getting "cleaned out" and upping their chances of conceiving those first few months following surgery. And not to mention helps with pain.
So I was wondering if I should insist on getting some removed or find another doctor for a second opinion who might be willing to do surgery or is surgery even worth it?
I'm just feeling like I haven't been given my best chance at trying to conceive on my own. Or maybe IVF is my best chance?
TIA!

Re: ? for the endo bumpies....
I had a Lap in July with my RE and he found the beginning stages of Endo. He cleared it all out right then and there, and my recovery was not bad at all. It definitely helped with my cramps around AF, too. That was my main reason for asking for a Lap in the first place, though I have been TTC for two years and figured it could only help with that, too.
If I were you, I'd probably get a second opinion.
Good luck, I hope you're able to get it taken care of!
My sis in law had endo removed during lap, she conceived on her own 2 months later (after trying for 4 yrs on her own). I honestly think the endo should have been removed during your lap. Not all women who have endo removed during lap conceive on their own afterward, some still have to do IUI/IVF to conceive.
I suggest not skipping to IVF just yet, talk to RE about IUI or other options first.
