Met an Expectant Parent

We met a birth parent tonight. Had dinner, talked for about 3 hours. They have met 1 other couple and are meeting the last couple tomorrow. They expect to make a decision this weekend.

If they chose us, it would actually be a more perfect match than I'd ever imagined. If not, I'll try to believe that it's because it wasn't meant to be.

This person sought us out not through the agency, but through friends. So it'd be agency assisted private adoption. We've not yet been profiled through the agency.

Oh....I gotcha! Hopefully this works out and you can be done with the agency sooner rather than later Fingers crossed for you!!!
