This is my second time on Provera. Last time, my doctor prescribed enough tablets for 10 days. This time, there are only enough tablets for seven days. I didn't notice it until I had brought the prescription home.

I plan on calling the nurse tomorrow, but does anyone know why this might be? I'm assuming that it wasn't a mistake. I'm just curious.

01.2013 First visit with RE

02.2013 Clomid 150mg + TI = BFN

03.2013 Femara 5mg + TI = BFN

05.2013 Femara 5mg + TI = BFN

06.2013 Femara 7.5mg + TI = BFN

    I was put on provera twice and they just gave me enough for 5 days....I dunno!

    Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    I would call just in case but it's definitely possible they put you on a shorter dosage - good luck!

    Whenever I have taken Provera it comes with enough pills for 7 days.  A couple of times I have taken Prometrium and they would give me enough pills for 10 days....but for Provera mine has always been 7.
    Me: 27 DH: 28 Off BC 11/11/11 DH SA = High count, normal mobility and low morphology (15%) March 2012: Provera and Clomid 50mg....BFN** April 2012: Provera and Clomid 100mg.....BFN** November 2012 (w/ RE): Prometrium and Clomid 50mg CD 3-7......no response, Follistim 150IU CD11 and 75IU CD13 w/ Ovidrel and TI.....cycle cancelled due to no response to Follistim injectables.** January 2013 (w/RE): Provera, Clomid 50mg CD 3-7, Gonal-F, Ovidrel and IUI...??? HSG Test: Clear
