found a birth center!

i had a natural hospital birth with DD (she is 8 months), and overall it was an ok experience but i want to deliver at a birth center for our next baby. I am not pregnant and we are not TTC, but i recently found out about a birth center in my area that is pretty new. They also offer well woman care, so a few days ago i went for my annual pap so that i could get familiar with the center and see what it is all about. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. i felt like i was at a spa. They have a "labor bar" where they serve snacks and drinks for laboring moms, beautiful birthing rooms and tubs, a calming waterfall along the lobby wall. I havent met any of the midwives yet but the nurse practitioner i saw was great. She was so friendly and i really felt like she wanted to talk to me and listen to me, definitely didnt feel rushed out the door or like i was just another patient. I am so excited to give birth again now that i found this place!!!!

I'm jealous! Why don't we have anything like that in Los Angeles?!
