Toddlers say the darndest things! (BFing)

As I was changing little brother's diaper today and had his jammies off, big brother (3 y.o.) points to his nipples and says, "Look mommy, Bakey has milk thingies, too!" (Bakey is his nickname for his little brother.) haha It gave me a good laugh.

On a related note, little man is 10 months old today! Exactly two more months to go to make it to the 12 month nursing finish line! I made it about 9 months with #1. I didn't think I would make it past 4 months this time due to the thyroid surgery I had to undergo in July. I pumped in the hospital, while I was on pain meds after coming home, and the fluctuating thyroid hormones have not ruined my supply as I had feared. I will miss him being a little baby, of course, but I am also looking forward to being free from nursing!
