anyone been to marco island?

exploring this as a vacation option later this spring...we have two 3 1/2 yr olds, wondering if there is much to do here besides pool & beach? we probably would only go for 4-5 nights. Thanks!

    We went to Marco Island twice...once w/DD last yr when she was 2.  It was a relaxing vacation beach/pool everyday.  We went to the Naples Zoo which was about 40min away....that was a great day.  Not too much else to do...but we love that type of vacation.

    You might want to consider a vacation in Naples....just as nice!  My friend has a second home there and loves it....she also takes her 3.5yr old here alot.

    I went YEARS ago with girlfriends from college so I'm sure it's changed a bit but I recall it being an older area, not tons of attractions or things to do besides beaches and restaurants.
