PVC in Toys

Do you worry about PVC in products or if they are listed as BPA and phthalate free is that enough for you? Just looking for some other opinions as I am not sure where I stand.

    This.

Plus, I try to buy second hand toys, if anything they have at least offgassed some. And i try not to buy soft plastic toys which are a big offender.

  • Right now, I am researching the PVC in every toy and other item I am buying for my daughter.  (I am 24 weeks pregnant.)  I don't know if I will be able to keep up with it, but that's what I'm doing for now.  It is so time consuming!

  • I have spent so much time researching toys for BPA, PVC, Lead paint and all other toxic chemicals.  I have actually done this for every product I've used on my son since he was born.  I have summarized my findings to help others save time so hopefully this can help you too!  I know how little time new moms have!
