overnight?

Hi everyone, 

My 15 month old is now soaking through her diapers every night.... has anyone else had this happen? Am I naive for thinking I can keep doing cloth through the night as she gets older?   We use prefolds and covers.  She's in the toddler size, Bummi organic brand. 

 Any suggestions?

Ok guys, school me.  How would I double up?  Wrap one diaper around the one thats already on her?  I'm not sure that would fit.  

What is a "doubler"?

I would put one on with a snappi, then just tri-fold the second and put it between that and the cover.

A doubler is a smaller insert you could either lay inside the prefold or add on the outside of the prefold between it and the cover. More fabric = more absorbency.

Hemp or bamboo are extra absorbent. Pretty much every online diaper store has some doublers.

You could just put one prefold around the other. You could also use a smaller size and trifold it so the absorbency would be just where you need it in the wetzone.

A doubler is an insert (usually bamboo, cotton, or hemp) that you can add that give you extra absorbency without adding bulk.

My DS is almost 18 months and my nighttime diaper is a Babee Greens hemp-cotton fitted with doublers from Green Mtn. Diapers (I like using the large hemp and the sherpa cotton ones for night). This is topped off with either a Babee Greens wool liner or Bummis fleece liner. I use wool covers for night most of the time. Pretty much never had a leak! Wool is seriously amazing for night if you haven't tried it.
