A tooth soon?

I took DD to the ped today and the first thing he said was she was teething biggie and should have a tooth soon...I am curious how soon! I will be using her teething necklace tomorrow !

Did he say how he knew? I heard that before a tooth is about to break through the gums turn white from the pressure but I don't know if that's true.

He didn't.  I will try to remember to ask this at her 4 mth appt
