to my doppler...I seriously use it at least once a day if not more. I love knowing hes in there and that hes active (when I have to chase the sound around) and knowing which side hes on each day
I'm so torn about whether or not to get a doppler.
On one hand I would love the reassurance, on the other hand I don't want to create my own anxiety if I can't find the heartbeat one day.
Trying to convince myself I can just be patient and wait for my midwife appointments.
I had this same internal debate. For some it does cause more stress. I just remind myself im not a professional and baby is still small so if I don't find it right away I don't freak. I have found it everytime I have tried though, it just sometimes takes a while and I can only catch it for 20-30 seconds sometimes before he moves away
I'm waiting for mine to be returned, but I might hold off since the doctor couldn't find it last week since my ute is still tilted and I don't want to freak myself out too much. It was such a nice reassurance to have when I was pg with DS
Did you buy yours online? I have thought about getting one because my hubby works away for 20 days at a time and seems to miss out on all the appointments. I would love for him to hear it when he gets home.
I thought they would have been WAY more expensive, but $55 is a good price!

I got mine from fetaldoppler.net but there are a couple other websites you can get them from as well. I have heard of a few girls finding them for a little less if they happen to catch a deal, but for the most part I found the sonoline b to be right around 55 every where I looked! I thought they would be more expensive too, the price is what sold me

Awesome! Thanks! I just had a look, and of course living in Canada, they tack on an additional $30 shipping. LOL.

Check eBay!!! That's where I bought mine. It came to about 65 with shipping to Canada when I ordered it in 2011.

I want one so bad it makes me want to jump up and down like a three year old until DH gives in and agrees to buy one. Rationally, I should not have one. I would obsess.
