Tots Bots Fluff Mail Question

My fluff mail just arrived, including my new Tots Bots Easy Fit. It has a minky interior, but there is a fleece liner folded inside it. Is this a happy bonus, or does it mean that I need to use a liner with this dipe? (I know microfiber is not good against their bottoms, but I have no idea about minky.)

Minky should be fine on the skin. Tiny has minky crib sheets that a friend of mine made for a shower present, and they've never bothered him.

Minky isn't stay-dry.  I think Tots Bots gives you the piece of fleece to use only if you want to.  Mine became very pilly/nubby after the first wash.  Is this typical for other fleece liners?
