First World Problems

I am laying on my loveseat holding Alice who is sleeping off a fever. There's nothing on TV and I can't reach the Xbox remote so I can watch Netflix. First world problems for sure!

She woke up after about 20 minutes. She's unimpressed with life. I am currently on the millionth repeition kf "Alice, Alice, sleepy little girl," and her eyes are just almost closed. At least her fever is finally starting to come down!

I had a somewhat similar situation today. DS1 and DS2 were both sleeping on me, and I was starving, but the only thing within reach was a box of chocolate truffles...so of course I had to eat them.

DH found me a first world solution to the remote issue. There is an app DirecTVR, and it's a directv remote app. As long as the TV is on I can control the dish from my iPhone. So helpful. I pretty much always have my phone on me so now it's all I need instead of juggling the phone and remote.

My cable has this too! Total nursing lifesaver often!

I had my phone, laptop and monitor all plugged in our room last night and all the charging lights were too bright to let me sleep.
