I think of the baby is just "Anne" it should have the E on the end. Ann looks more like a nickname for Annabelle or some other name. Both are fine - I just like the more finished look.

I prefer Anne. Agree it has a more refined, finished look to it.
DD's MN is Anne after my grandmother. MIL's MN is Ann and she always tells me we spelled DD's middle name wrong. I want to punch her in her fuckking face.
Moral of the story: Both ways are correct, so do what you want.
I prefer Anne, but that's because it was my middle name until I got married and has been used as a FN or MN for several generations in my grandmother's family. Ann/Anna is a tradition on DH's side. I really wanted Anne as a second middle name for DD, but I knew we would never agree on the spelling.
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015
Print out "Ann" and it looks absolutely dreadful, but Anne with an "e" is quite distinguished...so if youll only call me "Anne with an 'e', Ill try and reconcile myself to not being called Cordelia.
