Finally a happy baby... I think

Keeping my fingers crossed.  LO was put on Zantac at a month old. At two months old she started spitting up pure acid. No formula. Went back and they added Prevacid. We had some issues with that. Ended up back at the doctors yesterday. We are now up too 3 .8 ml doses of Zantac (once in morning, one mid afternoon, and one at bedtime) and 2 doses of Prevacid. 2ml a day once in morning and once at bedtime. Plus we are continuing to weigh down all bottles don with oatmeal. 1tsp per 2 ozs. Occasionally she gets gripe water for the gas she gets from the cereal, but I am finally able to put her down and get things done around the house. She will lay on the floor on her mat and play. A day has made a completely difference I hope it just stays this way.

My daughter has acid relux and gas issues too and that's my exact life cannot put her down or get anything done and she is cranky ALL the time. If she's awake, she's cranky. Except for the random ten minutes of happy and full of smiles before she goes back to being miserable again. My poor baby! We tried zantac didn't help, we tried prevacid, and for some reason she stopped wanting to eat on it so we stopped that. My doctor now recommended the oatmeal in the bottle but I have yet to try it. He says if nothing works soon we're going to have to go see a specialist. She also has really bad gas all the time, and crys when she has it. poor girl. I'm so glad you found something that works for your daughter! I hope it continues because I know hard it is and how bad you feel for them
