I don't think she means talking TO her child about any of this. That's really my question - WHO is she venting about? WHO is pushing her into this supposed corner she feels she's being pushed into?
"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." ~Benjamin Franklin
That's a good point. I thought she meant her child because she talks about not making him a pervert or racist or whatever but she needs to express herself. WTF. I mean, really, what?
I'm not sure if this is based from another post somewhere? No one seems to understand what she's talking about though.
Mom to two beautiful girls and forever labor buddy to the fab lady MandaPanda518!
I actually feel for her. Reading between the lines, she's probably living in a socially conservative part of the country and has some judgey friends. There's a time and place for everything.
The downside is, it sounds like to her wearing "fetishwear" in public is part of the appeal. I'm honestly not sure how a pregnant woman plans to wear a corset(!). I'm mostly just confused.
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
I guess she's upset about those roving bands of virginal PTA moms who tackle pregnant women and force them into khaki, top knots and church pews against their will. But that's the risk you take, when you procreate.
Oh wait, that didn't happen to you guys either?
Virginal moms are the hawtest moms of all.

I live in a socially conservative part of the country..... I still don't get it.
As I told her, if you're not telling people what's going on in your bedroom, then how do they know?
As for fetish-wear, I don't think that's a commonly seen thing in most parts of the country.

:::adjusts ball gag:::
Headed to the PTA meeting, eh? Well, tell them to stick it for judging you. Well... I guess write it down....
Also, maybe TMI, but DH and I were going on an anniversary trip last year while I was 7 months pregnant, and we stopped at Spencers to look at some "toys" for the trip. For some reason, I felt really awkward looking at toys while so obviously pregnant, to which my husband replied, "You realize that everyone knows you have sex, right? You're not the Virgin Mary."

Indeed.
And she's quite pisssed about it.
This is what I got from it:
"No one wants to hear about my anal!"

There is a 22 year old stepmom on the Blended Family board who wants to know how to talk to her 14 year old stepson about sex.
I hope she doesn't have this woman's mentality. She sounds pretty level headed, but that kind of age difference makes my eyes pop a bit.
I'm sad that she never responded.
