Lo gets baptised this weekend. Was wondering what the going rate was for the monetary gift in the thank you card to the priest? Any help would be appreciated.
This is driving me crazy. For those that paid - did you have a separate ceremony? Or did you have it done during the service? Ours was done during the service. The church already pay our pastor for that - he just read a few pages that are for baptism - that was the only difference.
This is new to me. We didn't give anything...oops?!
^THIS! Wow. I had no idea.
I know her Oma donated a sum of money in Juno's name for a new pulpit, but I didn't find that out until after the ceremony. We gave to the offering that Sunday...
$200 is a LOT of money!!
I guess I should have said that we hadn't been to church in a while so I considered it to kind of be our annual donation. It was a guilt gift lol.

I had a seperate one but would have done the same regardless.

We are having a separate ceremony but the donation is at your discretion so we just decided to give 50$. It's not obligatory.
