So I know that the whole head banging thing is normal and we've gotten used to it for the most part. The one thing I can't adjust to is the head banging on the crib. LO stands up and bangs his head on the top of the crib. It pretty much sounds like someone is doing construction on our house it's so loud. It's gotten to the point where I can't tell if LO has tired himself out when he goes to sleep or knocked himself out (obviously I check on him once he's asleep but I can't be in the room to see this). I would just tie the bumpers to the top of the crib but I am not sure how well this will work (has anyone done this?). I know they make crib rail protectors for teething--- so has anyone found padded ones for this type of behavior?
BTW this is someone elses' image of our crib
Re: Bumpers for Top Of Crib
They sure do make something! Check it out:

Excellent thank you! I might even see if I can remember how to sew (it's been awhile) and add some additional padding to these!
Check the cost vs. buying it. Unless you just like to sew, a lot more often these days, it's cheaper to buy the item already done. At that is what has been happening to me lately. GL! I hope it works out either way!
