If you haven?t noticed I have moved our updates to Mondays. I seem to get very busy at the end of the week and then felt bad all weekend when I was putting this up late!
Also, I am sure you have noticed Antiaflora started a 2IF loss check in. Thank you for your all your sweet thoughts and taking the time to put this together.
Please forgive me if I missed anyone's update. We welcome every member (graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. Re: *****2IF WEEKLY UPDATE*****
My update before I go to bed and have to get up at the crack of dawn for our Egg Retrieval!! Yes, ER is tomorrow at 9am. I will try and update our count as soon as I can, it will probably be brief.
I will be thinking about my cycle buddy EgsSuared!! I am hoping for good numbers for both of us.
I am think about last months cycle buddies at 2 of them are going through m/c's and it breaks my heart and my NC girl Lauren.
QOTW:
It will be the money for us. We are pretty maxed out right now and at some point we feel it is time to live life with what we've got. That we need to put money back into retirement funds and save for college finish our basement. I feel like we are too close to that point and it SCARES the CRAP out of me.

Update : break. Contemplating next steps.
QOTW : our DD is 4.if we have another i doubt they will be close. And I am almost 39.my time is running out. I want to do one ivf cycle. But then probably stop. I can't keep doing this. Hard on me physically, emotionally, hard on my marriage.
Egg retrieval for me tomorrow. We have to be there at 6:30, so I really should be sleeping now.
QOTW: I think it will be when the insurance runs out on us or DH says "enough", whichever comes first. We have coverage for 4 ER's. It sounds pessimistic, but I've already thought about heading right into the next IVF cycle asap if this one doesn't work out. I may change my mind after ER and ET, but that's what I think now.
Update- CD4 and on Clomid/Met/Estrogen patches, doubled the dose as last one didn't work. Hopefully things will go smoothly this time!
QOTW- Hmm we have said we will move mountains for another but we want to try everything possible to have me carry it this time. We will scrimp and save until we can afford to try everything before we move onto surrogacy or adoption again.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
QOTW: since we hadn't even started any treatments, we hadnt really discussed what would be the limit, but I am sure it would be about money since our insurance doesn't cover anything to do with infertility.
BFP 1/21/13, blighted ovum m/c 2/12/13
No real update good luck to those going through ER/ET soon!!!
QOTW: We are either at or close to this point and it makes me very sad. When DH and I married we always said we would see what is in G-d's plans as far as how many children we would have. DH is thrilled with our twins and does not desire more. I would love more but we have already spent the equivalent of a luxury car OOP to get our two plus he has suffered through two traumatic surgeries. I wish I did not want more children so much
I wish DH and I were on the same page. He hates IVF because it reminds him that he is infertile. If we do cycle again it will be our last fresh and any FET would be years down the road when we have some savings again. Our RE said not to expect frozens and likely the same small number of eggs if we do cycle this spring, boo.
On a side note has anyone been approved for Compassionate Care for Gonal F? I am applying and would love any tips!
I'm excited to see some great ladies having their ER today, and am wishing them the best of luck. Hoping for some great reports later today.
Update: I took my last estrace last Thursday, so no more smurf vag for me! I reduced my progesterone to half the dose and have two more shots left until I am completely off all hormones. I see my OB for my first appt. this Friday, when I'll be 10 weeks.
QOTW: We had enough insurance left to cover everything but the meds for 4 cycles this time around. I told DH that was the most I would consider, although 3 felt like it would be the max I could handle physically and emotionally, as well as my age being an issue, but knew I would have to make that decision if we got to that point.
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13
I posted an update yesterday but I had my 1st IUI yesterday. I'm petty much freaking out, so I need to relax and just know that what will be will be (that is annoying to say adn hear but I have to keep repeating it!) I feel fine today, had some bad cramping last night. We also BD last night just to cover ourselves and maybe will tonight too.....
we haven't had an official conversation about it but I'm thinking 2-3 IUIs and then we reconvene and decide next steps, which may be IVF and may be nothing. I honestly don't think I want to go through with IVF, just a personal feeling, but I'm not ruling anythign out. My insurances covers this so it's luckily not a financial factor.
QOTW: I probably will limit myself to TTC this year. Part of it is due to money and part because i can only handle so much disappointment.
MPZ born June 2011
TTC #2 ... Cycle 1-3: IUI = BFN | Cycle 4: IVF ... canceled but 3 snow babies
Cycle 5: FET .. BFP! | EDD - 3/15/2014
Not much to update. My d&c was on Friday. I was so impressed with myself that I wasn't too upset or emotional that day...but then the sh** hit the fan and I was a complete disaster on Saturday. I cried pretty much all day and felt worthless. I think it was good for me though! I needed to get it all out. I'm feeling much better. On a positive note, I got a new car yesterday! We weren't planning to at this point, but knew we had to if I got (and stayed) pregnant. We bought a minivan! LOL! My friends think I'm crazy ,but whatever...I like it and it's convenient. Hopefully I can fill it up with babies!
QOTW: Our insurance didn't cover IVF and only covers other infertility related stuff to a certain amount. Our insurance is about to change and although I'm not sure what it will cover, I think it is a terrible company...so I don't have much hope. I think it is safe to say we will definitely use up all 5 of our frosties if need be. Hopefully we will only use 1 or 2 and then donate the others to families who need them.
I am POSITIVE we will have a baby before we use those up, but if for some reason we don't then I will cross that bridge when we get there. Emotionally (and financially), I can't keep doing this..but we will see.
I am just waiting for AF to move on to cycle #8. Packing is almost complete for our move this weekend. I just have my DD's room to pack! I hope AF will hold off until we are finished moving. I think missing ovulation was a bummer but a much needed break so we could focus on this move! Hugs, prayers and love to everyone!
QOTW: I'm not sure when enough will be enough. Last time around the cycle after I got pregnant with DD, we would have moved to IVF. Since we didn't have to do that, I'm not sure. I'm definitely not ready to give up any time soon!
Rainbow Surprise Baby due 05/26/2017
Update: Had monitoring appointment yesterday and go back again on Thursday. Still on stims but it looks like ER is most likely going to be Monday
QOTW: We are very blessed to have 4 cycles of IVF covered by our insurance but since its only 4 lifetime max cycles and we are already on number 2 I think that is our limit. Financially I just don't think we can do it out of pocket. It does make me sad because I always wanted 3 or 4 kids but I don't think that's going to happen. Now I just pray we are blessed with a second child.

I think Mondays is a pefect day to update. Jeanna thank you so much for all your support.
Congrats to the BFP's this week and welcome to all the newcomers.
I am not sure what to think. My hcg went up after the Methotrexate shot. This is not uncommon but I am terrified. I still feel pregnant and am so bloated I feel like I have gained 10 lbs. We are leaving for Savannah on Saturday and I really need to have answers before then.
QOTW: We will stop when I reach a certain age. I am not sure when that will be. We are lucky enough that everything has been covered by insurance. I am looking into adding IVF to my husband company policy since he owns the company this may be possible. We aren;t at the IVF stage yet but want to be prepared.

QOTW: I think we would go all the way to IVF at least once if it comes to that. Our insurance for the next 4 years covers 50 of everything.
