Anyone have bottle refusing baby have success with sippy?

My LO is 4 and a half months old and still will not take a bottle. I have tried all bottles and having other people feed him. Pretty much have done everything and he won't take it. The pedi said we could try BM or formula in a sippy as a way to transition off the breast or at least so I can be away from LO for more than an hour or two. But he hates the bottle so much I really wonder whether he will take a sippy. Just wondering if anyone in a similar situation had any success?

I am in the same situation but don't have any advice. My LO just turned eight months. We have tried two different types of sippy cups and a straw with no luck. Hopefully someone can help.

DD took a bottle twice I think.  We had success with the Nuby & Take and Toss sippy and straw cups.

Honestly, DD2 didn't take a bottle or a sippy no matter what we did, until right before the new year when I cut her off completely from nursing (just pumped). It seemed that she knew that if she waited it out she would eventually get me. And the weirdest part was that she would only take formula (we still can only mix it half/half). So, at almost 7 months, I had to just stop nursing all together, and now she takes a bottle like a champ. I hate that it had to go that way, but I'd rather know she's eating while I'm at work then come home starving and nurse ALL NIGHT LONG!

My baby wouldn't take a bottle, either.  He uses a sippy cup now for water but honestly we put pumped milk in a shot glass and my husband will give it to him if I am gone.  My husband has to hold the shot glass or baby will spill it everywhere, but he will sip it and it works in a pinch.
