The 3 month growth spurt. I've never noticed growth spurts before so this is all new to me. How did LO act during 3 month growth spurts?

Like hell on wheels? LOL. She ate every 2.5 hours and DID NOT SLEEP. Can you tell we're at the tail end of it?

Stella usually gets a little more needy during them (fussy if she's not being held and only slightly less fussy when she is), and her appetite goes WAY up in the evenings.  Normally this kid eats about every 1h45m to 2h, but during these fun days it's more like every hour.  Other than that she doesn't really act different, but I'm sure others will have stuff to add.

ETA:  Oh and she is now back to waking up every 2 hours at night.  Previously she was giving me one good 4-5 hour stretch followed by 2-3 hour stretches.

This exactly. 4 month Wakeful is my hel! on earth.

Did anyone notice it if FF? She usually eats every 3 hrs, we've never had 'cluster' feedings, etc. she's just fussier at night now. And she is FF. curious if these spurts hit FF babies the same as BF.

Yes. Oh yes. This has been hel! on earth. We are on day 7 and I am hoping we are at the end. Napping has been nonexistent. Even after upping all of his bottles he still is eating every 2 or 2.5 hours, where it is normally 3.5 or 4. He's been so fussy and clingy. This has been the worst by far.

Alice slept, ate, slept, and ate.  No playing, no interacting.  Sleeping then eating.  Then one day she woke up and knew all kinds of new tricks. LOL

Paul is going through it now. Sometimes he's constantly feeding, then he'll take a 4-5 hour nap. Today he was on the boob ALL DAY and fell asleep at 6:30 and is still out cold 4 hours later. I'm starting to notice him doing more things now.

My LO started daycare, had his 3-month growth spurt, and started teething at pretty much the same time. I don't even know how to separate these three miserable phenomena, so if you need me, I'll be hiding in the corner with a bottle of wine while weeping silently and trying to find my happy place.

OMG you poor thing.

Stella woke up with a cold two weeks ago, the same day she started daycare, and the cold blossomed into an ear infection.  Then, just as she fought that cold off she caught another one and now I feel a little sick.  I'd ask to come join you in the corner but I don't want to spread the germs

I still haven't figured out if we just finished the 3 month growth spurt or started the 4 month wakeful; whatever it was, it's awful.

DS was eating every 1-1.5 hours all three days this weekend and was awake at night every 1.5 hours for two nights in a row.  Thankfully last night he must have hit the end of the spurt and he went to bed at 4:30 (!) and then slept 4.5-5 hour chunks all night.  I finally got some sleep!
