Postpardum Pads

With DD, I used Always pads and found that because I had to wear them for a while, I got "itchy" and very irritated (it would keep me up at night it was so bad).  I remember reading a post or two that mentioned less irritating brands to use and I thought Kotex was one of them so that is what I have on hand.  Which pads did you use and were they comfortable (relatively speaking of course).

TIA!

  • I used Stayfree overnight brand when I came home from the hospital, but I used the always maxi overnights when I was at the hospital.

  • I alternated between Always Infinity and Kotex. The K were more comfortable and less irritating, but the AI absorbed better.

  • I used the Teva pads for the first few days coming home from the hospital.  Then I switched over to Kotex.

  • Lurking..

With DS I just used the Always Infinity with no issues. After reading this I think I'll also pick up a box of Kotex to try. I'm normally not a pad wearer so I'm pretty clueless!

  • I'm using Kotex. I used most of the random ones I had from the hospital first, but they were quite a bit more irritating after a few days.

  • Kotex's overnight with wings worked for me. I have eczema and Kotex doesn't give me any rash either.
