Anyone else have a baby who does this? Never fails, my son will be right up against the crib rails while he sleeps. His head, his entire body.. he bumps his head every night/wakes himself up! Makes me feel bad for him.. I was thinking bumpers? But I know they're frowned upon, and it probably wouldn't do much anyway... Maybe I'll just let it go. He'll probably learn that it isn't a good spot to sleep eventually. I feel like there is zero space for him in the crib, but he's also a big boy.
I don't know.. WWYD?

We use a breathable bumper, and it definitely makes it a bit "cozier" for my DD, who also likes to sleep against the sides of the crib.
The bumper is the same mesh as the mesh on the sides of a pack n play, which is considered safe for sleeping. As long as it's installed correctly and snuggly, I don't see it as a hazard.... Obviously you need to use your common sense, though!
