I'm pg again and have two pair of pants that fit (one jean, one cargo) - so I understand the aggravation with that I just can't find any that fit now, maternity or otherwise.

About the pain - I didn't personally experience that that I remember. What TYPE of pain is it? It COULD be nerves healing - that is kind of a tingly pain, and it differs for each person and can go on for awhile.

Are you sure you don't have an infection or anything? Is it red or puffy? Get it checked if it is. Are you going for a 6 week PP follow-up? Be sure to ask then.

Have you tried the maxi-pad trick? You put a pad along the top of your underwear so that it cushions your incision against any rubbing.

I am almost 7 months pp and I still have pain when anything rubs right on the scar like jeans. I don't really wear them anymore. It takes a while but it will eventually get better.

This is normal.  You had a major surgery. It isn't all better over night.  I wore maternity pants and huge underwear for several months.  And honestly if something rubs my incision the wrong way it is still tender and it has been over 2 years.

 I'm the same way. I'm 3 months pp and every now and then I still get some pain in the area. It's not very often though but it's still there!

It was a good 2 months until I was comfortable with anything rubbing or putting pressure right on it. I'm 14 mos pp and I still get a twinge of pain if I'm wearing low rise jeans.

I'm almost 8 weeks PP & mine still hurts from time to time when my underwear or jeans rub my scar/incision the wrong way. I asked my doctor and she said it could hurt for a while still.

It may take several mos to heal hon.it was major surgery.don't lift anything like I did heavier than newborn.wow I gave birth dec.22 day after my birthday.6 weeks early.was yours?I take motrin800every 4to8 hrs.may try it til it heals.better than narcotics.

I never thought that.mine bleeds and gets on underwear.maxipad at top of underwear is great idea.thanks.I put toilet paper on and it falls off everytime I go to bathroom..
