Because my mom informed me that some of you are really 50 year old men who would be waiting to rape and murder me so I'm but allowed to meet any of you. This is how I grew up. The world is a scary place and I'm not safe. This is quite ironic considering they sent me to a public school which is not known for being a good one.

Anyways ... Anyone else have extreme parents?

That's funny, I haven't really mentioned it to my mom. She probably wouldn't get it.

My mom was when I was younger. I couldn't even ride my bike around the block by myself until I was 12. My best friend, who was a year older than I was,used to have to walk 6 blocks to come pick me up so we could walk to her house because I wasn't allowed to walk alone...and that was until I was 15. I wasn't allowed to walk to and from school until I was 16. I technically wasn't even able to date until 16, even though I did, and that included not going to Homecoming.

Now, don't ask me what happened with my two younger sisters because they do whatever they want.

My mom was like that growing up, and she still is now. She acts like something bad is going to happen constantly. It drives me crazy. But then again I am sometimes the same way.

My mom was the same way, until I told her about DH. Now shes convinced hes the only non-axe-murderer on the internet.

My parents are so funny about that kind of thing. They are cautious but if a person is a friend of a friend then they'll say, "Come stay with us!"

My brother served a mission in Washington state and in one of his emails home he mentioned a couple that was traveling to Utah for a seminar or something. My parents offered my brother's room to this couple, knowing it would save them money instead of staying at a motel. It was just kind of weird in hindsight, my brother didn't really know this couple and my parents didn't but they opened their home to them.

Moral of the story, if you need a place to stay north of Salt Lake, you can probably stay with my parents.
