When did your bleeding end?

Four weeks postpartum today and I got a gush of red bleeding again. It's been on and off all week. I am pretty sure I was done with pads by week 4 with my first pg but now it seems like there is no end in sight. I am not doing anything strenuous except for some physical therapy exercises for my lower back. It might be contributing to the bleeding but I can't skip them because my back needs it.

It first stopped right around 3 1/2 weeks, and then started around 5 weeks. I was forewarned that stopping and starting again was a possibility. And then I got my first AF around 8 weeks PP.

Mine lasted at least 6 weeks, because I was still bleeding at my 6 week postpartum OB visit.  My doctor wasn't concerned and said that was still within the normal range.  Good luck!

I think it stopped around 5 weeks. Just watch out for any abnormal bleeding [large clots, soaking pads quickly]. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry, it will stop soon!!

I think mine was closer to 8 weeks total. The red bleeding was maybe 3-4 weeks with maybe another 4 weeks of spotting/brown bleeding, with a few instances of red bleeding again. It seemed to go on for forever!

I had no period for 2 years when I was pg and nursed DS. I am just hoping its the same for this one but with my age and recent history of irregular cycles it wouldn't surprise me if AF returned. I am just concerned I will just bleed on and off for weeks, months because that is what happened when I was weaning DS. I was on the mini pill at the time and once BFing ended and I got off that pill, the constant spotting stopped. But then my cycles were irregular, got pg, lost that one, struggled to get Pg again with wonky cycles and finally got DD. I am done with TTC for sure but I don't need irregularity! I go for my pp visit next week.

I think mine was around 5 weeks. It would pretend to go away and then come back. I haven't had anything since then. Not sure if it's because of BFing/pumping or she just hasn't came back.

With my first I bled for 4 weeks, stopped for a week and then bled for another week. This time it has been very light this past week, just hit 3 weeks, mostly just dark tinged discharge. But I expect there will be more on and off the next few weeks.

Mine stopped just before five weeks, and then I got my first period around eight weeks PP ~ I've heard that periodic on/off bleeding is normal, but not sure (based on personal experience) since mine tapered off, and didn't come back :P

I'm at 3 1/2 weeks right now and the last few days it seems to have stopped. Just wearing a panty liner and will occasionally get some light colored/brown spots. Not sure if I'll start bleeding again or not.
