The Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks commercial makes me want to throw things. Mom and older kid in the grocery store. Kid is probably like 8. He says "Mom can I have a treat?" Camera pans out to different parts of the store and you hear, "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaadsssssssseeeeee....." So mom grabs Fruit Rollups and hands it to him. What the everloving fcuk?? My mother would have tanned my hide right there in the middle of the store in front of God and everybody. Disrespectful little brat anyway.

It's disgusting! I know tantrums happen, but really? And I also realize that on some occasions buying the kid a candy bar is going to be the easiest solution. I'm sure I will cave on many occasions. But I sincerely hope when Alice is 8, I have taught her that is NOT ok!

I know I like those fruit rollups and I almost don't want to buy them anymore because of the stupid commercial.

Every time I see this commercial I cannot believe the mother accepts that kind of behavior! It frustrates me! I also agree with pp that sadly there are so many kids that behave the exact same way irl. Being a teacher, it's frustrating to say the least, but more so, it's infuriating to watch their parents...gah!

Just one reason I couldn't be a teacher. I'd get fired for telling off punk kids and their enabling parents.

Isn't it awful??  I loves me some fruit roll ups, but no more.  Sad, really. LOL
