The waistband is a little large, but it'll give her room to grow into it, too. I think I'll make it a little shorter/smaller next time. I used regular fleece from joanns. I didn't use microfleece since that's for the stay dry, it doesn't make sense that it would keep wetness "in". I love these fleece soakers. They don't necessarily have to be cute, they're not too bulky *I don't think* under clothes, and especially for bumming around the house, they're easy! I wanted more of them for babysitters/hubby/grandma/grandpa.

Wow! I'm glad you guys like it! It should be one of our projects. Seriously, it took me probably an hour to cut/sew. And think of ALL THE POSSIBILITIES with all the cute fleece out there!!! I actually got this print because my sister is in love with giraffes. Weirdo. And of course my son is, too, so he got all excited. "Mama! Giraffes!!!" haha!

I used Katrina's Soaker Pattern.
