Today is CD10. I was on 7.5 femara from CD3-7 and have done 75iu Follistim the past 2 nights. Went in to be monitored today... still 15 small follicles on both the left and right and lining is at a 5.
I am so sad and defeated and this little "party" was $380 OOP this afternoon. I don't understand why I am not responding to anything. Another monitoring scan is set for Monday. I'm going to be broke before we even get anywhere.
***siggy warning***

Re: I don't understand why this isn't working...
I know how disappointing it can be to not get the answer you're hoping for. Try not to give up hope yet. You may just be a slow responder. On the few cycles I've actually responded, I was never ready for trigger until CD15ish. FX that your next appointment is better.
I completely understand where you are coming from. The very first cycle ever I did comid and responded with two follicles, but my lining was very thing so BFN. We did comid again and had no response for a while, then moved into femara and had no response. My RE now wants to try injectables, and swears they will work (even though he shrugged his shoulders as to why the previous treatments didn't work).
I am going for a 2nd opinion, just to make sure we are doing everything right, make sure nothing has been missed and to see if there is a possible answer we haven't received.
Good luck and I have my fingers crossed for you. Don't be scared to get a second opinion.

Ug. I'm sorry. I definitely have those days when I wish I knew why things weren't working. It's even more so when costs are OOP. Hang in there. You'll find the magic combination.
Thank you all so very much for your sweet words of encouragement.
Just got the b/w results, and apparentely my E2 level is "perfect" for where I am in my cycle. My nurse said that this early on (CD10) I am right there they expect me to be and because of my lean PCOS they have to make SURE I am a slow grower or (her words) I will "explode with eggs"... no one wants that.
The nurse said that at my Monday appointment all they will be looking for is at least one follie over 10mm. Hopefully after 3 more days of shots I will be there or close. She was still confident that I will trigger next week/end of the week and have the IUI within a week and a half.
I wish she would have told me this stuff in person so I wouldn't have felt so bad for myself over the last 4 hours!
Okay, yay!!! So glad to hear! It will go great, I just know it! Hugs!

I just had the same thing happen. I was sooo surprised. Do you remember if you had crazy cramps the day before? I didn't know what was going on because I was so miserable with cramps yesterday and yet I thought I wasn't responding to the Clomid. I went from having a whole bunch of follies under 10mm two days ago to a 20mm today. I am not sure how big this one was two days ago since I had about ten follies in the 9 to 10mm range on Thursday and it could have been any one of them.
OP, don't get discouraged so early in your cycle. I do understand how you feel though. I too have lean pcos and I don't ovulate on my own. I know it feels like we are starting a step behind people who ovulate naturally and that even without a BFP, just ovulating is a small victory. But my RE told me that lean pcos is one of the easier causes of infertility to treat and has a very hight rate of success. So GL! This still might be your cycle!
