starting again

For those that remember I told you DH and I were going to start IVF again in April. Well today I scheduled my HSG test, I have a hx of always needing a hysteroscopy so I wanted to get it out of the way early. I can't believe we are starting this again. After going through this once before I know what to expect so it's not as scary but I also know what to expect so I want to stomp my feet and have a hissy fit. I don't want to give myself shots in the a$$ again!!!

No real point to this, just wanted to keep you all updated and have a mini pity party of myself.

I know IVF really svcks, but every shot in the a$$ was worth it, wasn't it?  I'll be cheering you on - I'm so excited that you're starting again!

I'm on the same boat with you except our IF is unexplained. We were hoping that the first PG will "fix" it but wehaven't been using BC since E was born and still no luck. We are seriously TTC ing until March and if it's still not happening we'll go back to FET or another IVF in April.

Big hugs to you. My sister has to do shots daily her whole pregnancy and it's just not fair (she had to do IVF also). But the end result is worth it I am sure!

OMG, totally worth it. I would shot myself in the a$$ daily for the rest of my life if I had to. I really am excited about starting again bc I loved being pregnant and the idea of expanding our family, it's just a different feeling than last time. Thanks for all the support.

I don't know much about this so I can not really comment except to say that I hope everything goes really well for you and I will be keeping my fingers crossed that you have a successful IVF.

I am currently in the middle of my FET cycle for #2. We have 2 frozen embies that I pray survive the thaw. This is our one and only shot at baby 2. I totally know what you are saying. I am gearing up for shots in the arse again in less then a week. It's exciting and all at the same time insane to be going through it all again. I feel less pressure in an odd way this time around though.

I'm right there with ya. We are planning another IVF in May, and I'm dreading going through testing again. DH's SA is on Monday. I've already had my infection disease and AMH levels done, still have to do SIS and Day 3 bloodwork. Ugh. Suckity suck suck suck. Good luck with your tests and here's to hoping you get to skip a scope this time!

I'm not mentally ready to do IVF again just yet. The emotional rollercoaster was a bit much.

Do you know what meds you are using? Will you be doing the same protocal as before?

A part of me is ready bc I want my kids close in age and DH is convience he is old (37) and I loved being pregnant. The other part is just starting to feel like myself again and I am enjoying it. IF took a toll on me then pregnancy then 13months of BF. I'm happy about the break.

As PP mentioned I feel less stressed about IVF this time (at least right now) I think already having a child I don't have that fear of never being a mother. I think we will probably do the same protocol as last time, not entirely sure yet. Some combo of ovidrel, goanl-F and honestly can't remeber the rest of the names-it feels like so long ago! I have it all written down at home.

PIO-progesteron shots for 13weeks in the arse after transfer. You didn't have to do that! Lucky!!!! Seriously the worst part for me. The others were a piece of cake. I had bruising on my butt for months.
