Tea for babies with cold

Just wondering if anyone has given tea to an infant to help with sore throat relief when they have a cold? I add honey to my tea when I'm sick, but I know honey under 1 is a no-no, so just wondering if there are any alternatives to help my poor little guy.

I wouldn't give LO tea under 1. For colds and stuff I would only use humidifier you can add EO like eucalyptus to water saline water, chest rub, avoid Vicks is easy to make your own. I give my LO yogi tea " stomach easy" at night to help with gas but he is 19 months and only give him a small amount and sweeten it with pure maple syrup.
