I had mentioned in the Lance/Oprah thread that DH's cousin worked for Lance in the glory days.

He was interviewed yesterday on Anderson Cooper after Lance's interview aired.

You can still here the bitterness in his voice over the situation, and it makes me feel bad for him. Even though Lance is trying to "make it right" by admitting what he did, he chose a forum where he was guaranteed more attention and fame. He's still in it for himself.

I think he's a major douche nozzle. I don't give a rip if he cheated, but he publicly tried to destroy anyone who attempted to uncover his lies. That's what really pisses me off.

Lance is freaking prick. That's all I kept thinking that whole interview. He is genuinely an a hole. I'm not sure that I think he has a conscience. I didn't think that before but I do now.

Also, Manti Te'o... how hilarious is that?

I didn't see the interview but I have been aware of the situation. I am just extremely disappointed that he lied about it for so long even after it became public knowledge that he was doping. I think that is the worst part. If he had just admitted to it in the beginning then I wouldn't think so little of him now.

I didn't watch the interview... but I am just really disappointed. So many people and kids idolized him and supported him. Clearly he is a completely different person than everyone thought he was.
