I have been looking at different playards and I am having a hard time with what I would actually need.
The nursery is not far from our room so we will do all of our changing in the nursery. I suppose if the removable napper thing is comparable to say a rock n play we would just get that.
Any advice? What do you have and love/hate about it?
Re: Best Pack n play?
I used the pack n play in our room. Mine came with the napper and changing station. I used them both the first night home and hated them. I ended up changing DD in her nursery which is not far from our room. DH really appreciated it since he had to get up to work in the mornings. Instead of the napper she slept in the bassinet portion of the PNP and I never had any problems. I think it really helped with her transition to the crib to be honest (although I can't say for sure).
If I were to do it over again I would just get a plain PNP with the bassinet attachment, and forego all the extra bells and whistles.
My inlaws bought a basic Graco pnp with a bassinet and I think it's better than ours. The feet on the Graco fold inwards so its more compact when folded and a bit lighter weight than ours. I think they paid around 60 for it.
This.

I got the Baby Trend Nursery Centery Playard and have generally been pretty happy with it. We never used the changing table or the diaper stacker, but the little music center thing was genius - it had a vibrating function that DS liked, and the nature music was soothing for him. The light on it was also helpful.
It was a baby shower present, however, and if I hadn't gotten it then I probably would have regretted purchasing it because we all slept better once we started putting DS in his crib at a few weeks old. It's only been in the last month that we've been putting him in it again for naps so that he'll sleep better in the Pack 'n' Play at my in-laws' house.
