I never properly cleaned my breast pump parts until Wednesday night! I did not know a part came apart and there was ickyness in there....its clean now and will not happen again.

Yes, I admit that I just discovered a part came apart. I was about to buy replacement parts too.

Guilty as well!  The yellow part that the membrane clicks into (at least on a medela pump), I didn't realize it separated from the rest of the valve.  Bump saves the day.

 

  ......looks like I'll cleaning that RIGHT NOW.....

I bedshare after the first feeding at night after removing him from his unbuckled rnp. I planned on trying to transition to his crib but he keeps sticking his legs through the slits. I am considering using bumpers.

 

I've used mesh bumpers from day one and I had to lower the crib because should would roll and get her legs above the bumper and through the slat. She's since stopped but the bumpers have save her hands and feet from getting stuck.

I refuse to let my dad keep DD...he has a CRAZY wife and I don't want any of her crazy rubbing off on my LO! So I tell him that she is to fussy or that we have something else to do.

Last night was our wedding anniversary and we took the boys to my parents' house so we could go out to dinner.  This was my first time away from baby.  Anyways, 2 glasses of wine later for me, and 12 weeks of sex deprivation for DH led to us looking for a remote parking lot to get freaky in.  

My genius plan, my place of employment.  Its remote and it was late.  So we get there and the only person STILL there at 9 pm was MY BROTHER (we work at the same place).  Talk about awwwwwkward.  He clearly knew it was us, so we had to stop and say hello

It was uncomfortable to say the least.  I could actually SEE the moment that he put two and two together...when he said "youre missing two children..." and then hung his head, sighed, and said "well....see you guys later..."

But this did not stop us, we proceded to the next available remote parking lot.  Not only flameful, but embarrassing!

I use bumpers. The real ones, not mesh. I have the mesh ones but they are ugly. LO isn't close to rolling so I'm going to enjoy the cuteness until he does. 

I also cover him with a crocheted blanket most nights. Like someone else said, he can breathe thru it and its cold in our house.

My fffc is that I have broken up with a friend like this. I never really liked her, but she just kept clinging and clinging....so as soon as she did something remotely mean, I pretended to be really offended and stopped talking to her. Yeah....I'm a bish...

I work from home and DH works a crazy day/night schedule so we hired a nanny to help out a few days during the week. Well today I'm blowing off work and catching up on my tv while the nanny is downstairs with DD.

When my kid smells from spitting up, sometimes I just give her a whore's bath with a baby wipe. 

I have left my sleeping DH on the couch for the past two nights with LO beside him in the RnP because I get the whole bed to myself, and if LO fussed, he's the one that wakes up. And I've told him each morning that I tried in vain to wake him, but he wouldn't get up. Which is a total lie!!! And I've slept sooo good I'm going to keep doing it as long as he keeps falling asleep in front of the tv! Mwahahahahaha!

I bought William some cute Geranimals wrist rattles today.He loves them.

 

Now the flameful part.  I'm tempted to put them on my cat... just to see what happens. Just the thought makes me giggle.

Also, to PPs, about the pump parts, if you grab the yellow part with a towel or tee shirt, and hold the plastic part it pops onto, you can get good leverage to twist it right off.

 

I also never buckle William into his RNP. He sleeps in a sleep sack, so it's impossible. He doesn't roll, so NBD.  Once he starts rolling, I"ll probably put him in his PNP instead, until we're ready to transition.

I accidentally stole makeup from target on Tuesday. A 10 dollar eye brighter was wedged under DD carseat. And I noticed when I was putting her back in the car. She was having a giant meltdown so I couldn't go back in and return it. It's still in my car. I feel like a felon, I'll probably take it back.

 

I did that with peanut butter.  The next time I went I paid for peanut butter and then had them keep it.

I hate when people's signatures fill the whole screen. It doesn't matter how cute your kid is or how many ticklers you have. If it takes a whole mouse wheel turn or finger swipe, I am annoyed.

This might have been directed at me.  I spent the better part of my afternoon sizing and resizing.  There really should be a "preview sig" button before you submit it.  Just sayin...

Not gonna lie, I logged on to a real computer just so I could see your siggy. LOL  I don't think yours is any taller than mine.

Also, I agree that there needs to be a preview sig button!

Well, after reading the post, i chopped 2 pics from the sig, so it WAS huge. In my defense, i just figured out how to change my siggy via ipad as well as edit photos. So i was making up for lost time!

I'll start.  Class started on the 7th so I had to take Stella to daycare.  I didn't cry. 

Same for me.  I dropped DS off at daycare on the 2nd of January, and not only did I not cry, but I actually had the day off of work, so DH and I went out to breakfast and saw a movie!

I just found out that K's daycare is not closed on Monday, and I might bring her in and spend the day relaxing. Alao, K isn't really rolling but can sort of buck out of the RnP by arching her back. Just a heads up.

Do it!  See my FFFC above.  I don't regret it one bit.  My line of thinking is I'm paying them for a month's worth of daycare, and I'm going to get a month's worth of daycare, thank you.

Besides, days of lounging around the house or going out to movies are on their way out for us new mamas...take advantage when you can!!!  Your LO will be fine
