When did/will you tell your parents? The first time around we told them super early because we were so excited (and because we had just seen them and I thought my dad suspected... he didn't. LOL).  This time i don't feel like I'm in that big of a hurry. It's not because of the risk of miscarriage. I know that is a very real risk, but if I had one, we would tell our parents about it anyway. I just feel like we have sooooo much time, why make the pregnancy seem like it's 5000 months long?

We told my parents right away, we are really close, and I don't think I could keep it from my Mom.

DH's parents we told at Christmas.  We told a few of our close friends after the 1st of the year.

Aquaintances and not as close friends we are planning on telling in the next few weeks.

We told our parents and my siblings within 2-3 days of taking the test with both pregnancies.  We're very close so it's just what we wanted to do (and my siblings told me right away as well).

We told our parents right away. I speak to mine every day, I hated keeping it from them last time.  I was thankful that we told earlier this time because I have had HG for 6 weeks now and have been in the ER twice and they had to take care of DS for us. I was so glad we had already told them in a fun way and didnt have to call them up and say "btw Im pregnant and sick can you come help"

First time around we told them in the third month. This time was also third month but maybe a few weeks later because when we were planning on telling them, DH's grandfather passed away, so we waited a bit out of courtesy, but by then they were already guessing.

I told my sister the day after I found out because I saw her (for my gma's husband's funeral :-/) and we're close. I don't see my parents often because they live 5 hrs away, and we haven't talked that often recently because I've been working so much. They're coming out here in a couple weeks and I need my mom to bring the maternity pants I lent a hometown friend, so I guess we'll be telling before then.

I'll be honest, I'm probably dragging my feet a little because I was so surprised by the pregnancy.

We told right away. And, believe me...telling early won't make the pregnancy seem to take longer. When you're running after a toddler, you don't even have time to remember that you're pregnant.

I'd like to keep it a secret for as long as I can with my family. I think it would be a funny joke to just go with the flow until they notice something. I wouldn't lie if they asked, I just wouldn't volunteer the info.

Thanks! I didn't do a post about it actually. I LOVE your siggy pic! Oh my goodness. I wanna squeeze the little ones' cheeks! They are all so precious!

We aren't TTC yet, but when I do get pregnant again we will tell parents and siblings in the first few days we know, as we did last time.  My policy is to tell ASAP anyone I'm close enough to that I'd tell them what I was going through anyway if something went wrong.  So immediate family and a few close friends.

I felt the same way this time through (about no rush) so we just told my parents about 2 days ago.  We'll tell DH's family this coming friday since they'll be together for SIL's b-day.  I probably could have waited even longer, but at almost 8 weeks I have no clue how much time I've got left before starting to show (or at least questionably gain weight).

We waited until about 11 weeks the first time because we wanted to wait until after our wedding. Next time, we'll wait just the same. I like keeping the secret to ourselves for a while.
