Teething

I need help!!! DD just started teething. Today has been hell. We have tried gel teether, cold and not cold. Also have tried frozen wash cloths, my hand, pacifier teether, and Tylenol and my poor baby is just miserable. What helps your lo while teething. I feel horrible that I can't make her feel better.

Re: Teething

  • Have you tried Highlands teething tablets?  They are all natural and you put them under their tongue and they dissolve instantly.  They seem to really help DS.  We've been dealing with teething the past few days as well and it's a nice alternative to Tylenol!

I just read on 6 to 9 months about these. Where did you buy them. I looked at everything they had at target and never saw these.

I bought them in the baby aisle at Walgreens! I would imagine CVS or any other drug store would have them as well.

  • Highlands worked alright for DS for the mild teething.  For the really bad days I used Advil.  On the really REALLY bad days, a little baby oragel (caution about using it before bed, of course). Some ladies swear by amber necklaces as well...never tried them.

ETA: At 6 months your LO might like the mesh feeder with either ice chips or frozen BM/formula

  • Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need a new a new pic of baby girl please!!

I'm sorry she's going through teething hell.  Boo.  I've heard great things about amber teething necklaces, but I haven't tried one myself.  As a pp suggested, try the mesh feeder with a frozen fruit she can chew on or the tablets.  I had never heard of the tablets until I read about them on here.  Planning on trying them if Matthew has any problems.  I hope she feels better soon!!

    ((hugs!))
