Really? Just a vent.

I got the methotrexate shots today, no big deal.  Hoping this passes pretty quickly and DH and I can move forward. 

I am reading throught the paperwork and it says a bunch of things you cannot do for 2 weeks.  DH and I are leaving next Saturday for Savannah for a week.  I cannot drink or have sex for 2 weeks. This effing sucks. If I can't be pregnant then I at least want to get tipsy and get it on with my husband.  Ugh.

    It's never easy. IF sucks!
    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    I can understand the sex part, but not even drinking? That just seems harsh! I would call the dr to ask their opinion about that one.

    I forgot to mention I did ask.  This is a chemo drug, so it is basically killing everything inside.  It is so hard on your liver that I could damage my liver if I drink.  And all I want is to have 1 nice big glass of wine at night. 

    I guess I am just annoyed because all of my decisions have been out of my hands over the past few weeks. 

    I am going to double check again next week when they check my levels.

    I'm so sorry!!! I hate it when we are governed by our IF issues...!!! It's the most unfair stuff ever!!! Hopefully the next two weeks will pass quickly!!!

    DX: Low AMH 1.79 Mildly elevated FSH 9.9

    1 month of Letrozole, 3 IUI's with Letrozole, All BFN. 1 canceled IVF cycle, BFN.


    May 2013 IVF w/ICSI #1.5: Start BCP 5/8 2 pills a day. Suppression Ultrasound 5/29. Begin Dexamethasone & Lupron Microdose 5/31. Started Gonal F and Menopur 6/2.


    ER 6/12 13R,9M,8F.


    5DT CANCELLED due to moderate OHSS


    5DT UNcancelled due to embryos not being capable of cryopreservation


    Transfered 2 "poor quality" embryo's on 6/17

    No frozen embryos.


    Beta #1 6/25 6. Chemical Pregnancy confirmed. Beta #2 6/28 -1
    Done trying
