Can you conceive but not have implantation, therefore never truly "getting pregnant?" I heard there is something called a chemical pregnancy, but I've personally never heard of it. And what would prevent an egg from implanting?
Male infertility issues (husband had poor SA), combined with former cervical cancer and subsequent treatment which has resulted in scar tissue and modified cervix.

Re: Conception w/out implanation?
Can you conceive but not have implantation, therefore never truly "getting pregnant?" An egg can be fertilized and then the resulting embryo can fail to implant. However in this case you were never pregnant.
I heard there is something called a chemical pregnancy, but I've personally never heard of it. A chemical pregnancy is just a very early miscarriage.
And what would prevent an egg from implanting? Could be a chromosomal issue with the embryo, or a lining problem, or there could be no identifiable problem at all.
