Any one have to have this shot?  Were there any side effects?  I am nervous, I have to go have this shot at 1pm.  My hcg went up to 110.  I just want to scream!  It needs to go down.  I am exhausted from all of this.

I am in a similar boat. I am sorry you are going through this. I tried not to google it because all I got was horror stories.

My hcg is hovering around 140 and finally went down to 116 yesterday and I am bleeding again so hopefully, that is a good sign.

They were going to give it to me yesterday if it didn't go down but it seems to be. I go back in tomorrow to make sure.

I think the shot is relatively safe and better than surgery right?

I had the injections the other day and I don't feel a thing.  It is much safer than surgery.  My RE suspects ectopic since the cytotec did not work for me. My RE also said they try to avoid D&C. One thing that is confusing is that they told me I might not bleed. I don't understand that at all. The cytotec made me bleed very little so I feel like something should come out.

I asked about bleeding too and she said the body is very good at absorbing what is left
