Question for PAL

Just want to pre-emptively sensitize myself to how this process works.

If you miscarried your first two pregnancies, but then had a successful third, would you be welcomed of ttcal or pgal with the fourth?

or is it kind of understood that your last pregnancy was successful, so you are now to stick solely to ttgp/tri/bmbs?

I've seen girls do either one of those options.  I personally have just stuck to PgAL.  I still post on TTCAL every now and then, but to offer support.  I didn't post there TTC related.

ETA:  When we were TTC, I did not post on TTCAL.  But I didn't post anywhere about TTC again.  I just stuck to this board.

Thanks. PGaL seems a lot more my speed than the tri boards, as everyone has the same worries I did, and know I will again. Hoping to get KU soon, and was hoping it was acceptable to post there!

Ya, I'm hanging out on ttgp. I feel like it would almost be an insult for me to post in ttcal, but then at the same time, I know that again, I have some of the same issues and fears that ttcal would probably understand a little better than ttgp. I will stick to ttgp though to avoid hurting feelings and then hopefully graduate to pgal.

I disagree. I had a successful pregnancy before my loss and TTCAL was the only place that got me through my dark days and struggles to conceive again. There were other ladies who had children who went thru TTCAL and PgAL. I suggest you do whatever you feel comfortable with.

For me, I did intro on TTCAL because I did have a CP after my rainbow. However, I am not an avid poster. I offer support and my experiences where I can but stay away from the whole "ugh, AF is here, ugh, it's CD1, ugh, where is O" type stuff posts.

When we were TTC after our rainbow, I kept that over here.

I do post on TTCAL sometimes now...but that is because I've since had a missed mc.

I asked if they minded my being there when I intro'd. They were really welcoming, and have been to those that have intro'd since me that had losses since their babies at home.

Oh and yes, if I had a m/c after having DD and we were TTCAL again, I would probably intro and post on TTCAL again, but wouldn't be as active as I was the first time around probably.
