So I have a hard time drinking all the water I need to. I drink orange juice and milk pretty often throughout the day..but water..eh. I've always been a crystal light drinker but tried to cut back bc I saw it has artificial sweeteners. I used to consume a lot of artificial stuff and tried to cut most of it out when I got the BFP. Anyone else get most of your water consumption through cl? Just looking for thoughts/opinions on the whole thing. Thanks ladies!

Also, if you have a big pitcher or water jug you can fill it partway with fresh/frozen fruit (raspberries, strawberries, pineapple, cucumber, lemon - really any combo), add water then put it in the fridge. The fruit will naturally flavor the water and you won't be adding any sugar or artificial junk. Tastes awesome too.
I've seen some pins on pinterest for lots of different flavor ideas.

This is what I do
I cut almost all processed foods from my and my families diet, well before becoming pregnant. after reading labels on the products we regularly purchased thinking they were better for us I made the switch. I would try to avoid drink mixes like crystal light because if does contain artificial sugars and colors. If there is a kind that contains stevia I would still watch for artificial colors and other additives. Additionally Stevia in it's natural form (which is a green color) is good, however the process to make it white includes bleaching it and making it "look" like sugar just as many other artificial sweeteners do.
Artificial Sugar Some flavors of Crystal Light contain aspartame, one of the most dangerous artificial sweeteners. Side effects of aspartame include headaches, anxiety, abdominal pain, nausea, heart palpitations and irritable bowel syndrome. Acesulfame potassium is another artificial sweetener used in some Crystal Light varieties. This sweetener contains methylene chloride, which is a known carcinogen. Therefore, long-term use of this carcinogen may cause cancer. Other side effects include nausea, headaches and impaired liver.
such as meat, chicken, pork, fish and eggs. It is needed by the body to produce essential brain chemicals, such as L-dopa, epinephrine and norepinephrine. However, the body does not produce it. Although aspartame is high in phenylalanine, phenylalanine is listed in addition to aspartame on Crystal Light's labels. Phenylalanine interacts with medications, such as anti-psychotic drugs. It is toxic in high doses and can cause nerve damage. Pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding should not take phenylalanine.
Artificial Color - The most commonly used artificial color, red 40, is an ingredient in some Crystal Light flavors, such as Pink Lemonade. The artificial color, blue 1, is found in Raspberry Ice among other flavors. Crystal Light's Peach Iced Tea is one of several flavors that contain yellow 5, the second most commonly used artificial color. All these artificial colors can cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Hyperactivity in children is also a potential side effect of these common ingredients.
