I know it is getting late in the day for the East Coasters, but I for one would still love to have today's checkin.

Re: Wednesday Community Checkin
hmm.. I would eat at Joes Stone crab daily prolly or have tons of bread and more bread.
our Blog -http://dosbabies.wordpress.com/
Still trucking on bed rest. The boys have dropped so I can finally eat a full meal again. Due to this I am having to remind myself this when I get up to get food. If not I get a tiny portion and then I am still starving once I eat it lol.
Tomorrow we have another growth scan and will find out when they are going to deliver. I am excited and nervous as I will have their official eviction date tomorrow and it can be anywhere in the next 10-14 days! It will just depend on how controlled my pre-e still is. I am panicking as this could be our last weekend without kids and I feel like I want to go and do something special but I can't.
Part of me is so ready for this to be done. More so I know they are safely out and so I can start getting me back in and effort to handle two newborns. The other part of me wants to desperately make it to the 31st so they are full term at 37 weeks.
QOTW:
I would hire a sushi chef and have a full salad bar installed. If I had my way I would eat sushi and salads all the time. I know I can just say go out and eat these things all the time but I rather would eat at home and know it's available. Plus with my own chef I could create my own rolls!

Are you joking by asking this of a community that contains many pregnant women??
He he he.
Fried Chicken sounds good. Yep. Also any totally indulgent pasta dish (I already do eat more pasta than I should, but always make sure there is sufficient protein in it. I'd get to ignore that rule and order a lot of other stuff).
Also, and this is ridiculous, but ramen noodles. Creamy Chicken flavor.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE good food, healthy food. Adore vegetables and ancient grains and lean proteins. But sometimes you've just gotta satisfy a ramen craving.

Ultrasound at 6w4d shows a single, fluttering heartbeat. Say hello to Sticky Ricki!
Our doc was out so the nurse did the insemination. I liked her a lot. She gave us more info about the sperm sample and what the numbers meant than the doc did last month. And she talked to M's belly in order to talk to the sperm after she did the insemination.
The sample was good for a frozen sample so here's hoping!
It was weird to have M head off to a day long meeting and then I had to go to campus so we haven't seen each other and won't until at least 6. I just want to cuddle and try to grow a baby.
QOTD: tofu panaeng curry and good fresh rolls with peanut sauce I really love peanut sauce. And ice cream. And guacamole. And mashed potatoes. not all together, but those are some of my very favorites

FET #1 December 2014
I am looking forward to hearing H's songs to the sperm, egg and uterus over the next few days! I am also going to test out the trigger shot, for something to do this time, so that shod be sufficiently geeky for me.
Otherwise, my week has been super busy at work, but good. I really love my job and spent the day in a visioning meeting today, so that was great and very inspiring. We have a new high up boss and she is working really hard to instill values of inclusion so I love that.
And for the QOTD: an unequivocal Pizza! I love pizza. 2nd to that would be a ckn kebab from the little Turkish resto I used to frequent in London when I lived there....

I would eat pasta forever. I lived in Italy for two years and I am addicted. I haven't had any in the new year and it is killing me. Yesterday I ordered hemp seed pasta at a vegan restaurant and it was cold and crunchy. Not good. I'm going to break down soon and eat some. Maybe tonight.

I have had several reactions just like this to things posted on the board at various points.
And, MK, boo on your boss and yay for you and your partner and your future baby who is hopefully starting out the embryo process while we write.

Wait, what? Why do you have to get HR involved? What? Your boss is off her rocker (which we already knew). BSC. Hugs to you, and eat some pasta already!
I'm... nauseous. Nothing really sounds good. On a regular, non-nauseous day, I'd probably say sushi and cheese are things I'd eat more if I had no pocket (sushi) or dairy intolerance issues. Not together, though. That would be disgusting.
Other than that, nauseous and hormonal.
Glad this thread was started!
Update: We're heading out of town tomorrow for our family pregnancy announcement road trip. It will be a lot of driving and stops (both to visit family and along the way for my poor pregnant bladder) but it will be fun!
QOTD: I was going to say that I would eat out at my favorite vegan restaurants more frequently, but I also love the idea of a personal chef!
I thought I'd be happy that the OB declared me "back to normal" yesterday but I felt oddly deflated. I think I had built the appointment up as being one step closer to FET...and although it's true that I had to clear that hurdle, it doesn't actually get me any closer to FET. Which feels far, far away. I am tired. of. waiting.
Period still MIA. 5 weeks tomorrow.
QOTD: One of the things I like about WW is that I can eat anything as long as I am smart about frequency and portion size. But there are two things that I can never quite feel OK about eating because a) they are so high in points that I can never have more than a tiny bit and b) are pretty much all carbs and fat and so don't have a lot of redeeming qualities in the nutrition department. Those things are nachos and macaroni and cheese. So those are my things. Plus ice cream. Huge vats of ice cream.
