We have been home study approved now just over 6 weeks. In those 6 weeks, we've been presented 5 different situations, had our first placement and failed match, and this Friday our profile is going to be shown for the 3rd time to an EM due with a baby girl in April.
The average wait time for our agency is just under 2 years now, so I wasn't expecting to hear anything from them for months at a time, especially considering the waiting pool of families is usually between 13-15 give or take. So I'm just pumped that things are hoppin for the agency and hope it continues. It gives me hope!
Of course on Friday I'm going to be a basket case again until I hear if she liked our profile or not. Par for the course, I suppose! Someday it'll stick.
Re: I hope I don't jinx myself with this post
