We had pork chops last night. Stuffed with stuffing and covered in cream of mushroom soup. Prrrrobably the most boring tasting meal ever. But it was easy and fast.
Currently looking for some simple chicken breast recipes myself for dinner tonight. Will probably end up making a bigass salad and grill up the chicken to put on top.
Norry and I apparently did our grocery shopping together. lol. How about some non spaghetti ideas for that burger? Mine happens to be of the turkey variety and needs to be used soon! Thanks in advance!
Pasta bakes are awesome...so versatile, easy, and makes plenty of leftovers. I just saute whatever vegetables I have, add sauce and season. Cook a box of pasta, 2 minutes under the recommended time. Add pasta to sauce, add a handful of shredded cheese, mix, put in a baking dish, top with a little more cheese, and bake for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees. It works with tons of pasta, meat, sauce, and veggie combinations to keep it from getting boring.
I am a fan of Real Simple (the magazine) recipes, and also now, this cookbook, which a friend got me for Christmas...I'm making a roasted salmon recipe from it tonight.
When I get tired of making hamburgers with ground beef, I like to cook a bunch of it seasoned with Mexican seasonings and then make things with it throughout the week like quesadillas, enchiladas, and nachos. Or I make this amazing meatloaf (obviously not with Mexican-seasoned beef).
Of course it helps to read the whole post!! I think a chicken / pasta bake sounds good, or baked chicken over pasta, veggies and sauce. Also BBQ pork chops with veggies (I've been doing this and DH loves it).
Re: Also, WFD?
Mmm sounds good. Recipe?

Thanks! I will check it out as soon as I can get off mobile.
