Waving and clapping?

Are your babies waving or clapping on purpose yet?  

K is not and I can't remember when DS started waving but I feel like it was around 8 months (it's not one of those milestones I wrote down).

Not yet. I'm going to start waving when we leave because I don't think she's ever seen waving. lol No clapping yet either and we do patty cake A LOT since she loves it. 

 

Also, I've noticed that I knew all about which milestone my first kid was supposed to hit and when. I was always trying to figure out what I should be doing with her and such and what the next milestone was supposed to be. I've noticed I'm so much more laissez faire with this one. haha

Kane just started clapping.  We're working on waving.

DD waves, it's really cute. She has a little 'royal wave' going on where she twists her wrist from side to side rather than up & down. She's really interested in her hands these days. She doesn't clap, but she likes to watch us clap.

DD is not doing either.  We practice all the time and she loves to watch me clap.  It usually distracts her if she starts to fuss.
