Just came across this recall.  You can call Bugaboo to get a replacement handle and solve the issue.

No one said it was for Canadian families only, the link the OP put is from a Canadian magazine so it talks about the recall in Canada.  I believe the recall is the same in the US, but I imagine that US magazines don't say that it is for Canadians because they are focused on their own markets.
