Venue for surprise birthday party

Can anyone give any great party rooms or other venues that would be good for a surprise birthday party?  I am thinking about throwing my mom a party in April so it would need to be indoors.

Lots of restaurants have private rooms that would work well.  We threw one for my mom and used a local church.
