Selling babies things

We are done having kids, I've had my tubes tied and everything. Well now that Lucas is out growing things like his bassinet, bouncy seat, travel bassinet, and activity pads I need to sell them or pack them away for my sister and brother but they are NO where near ready for kids so I'm selling. Any way I'm having a harder time than I thought I would its making it too real that my last baby isn't a baby anymore. I don't want more kids just lo to slow down!!

I'm also not sure where or how much to sell my things for?!?

I thought you might all understand or have some advice

I'm sorry you are having a hard time with this.  You are definitely not alone.  I thought I was going to go into a depression when we moved LO to his crib and packed up his bassinet.  It's so painful to be a mommy sometimes.....luckily each stage that ends brings a new and equally delightful stage.  HUGS to you.

I'm having a terrible time parting with our stuff since we had no plans of these being our last.  I keep trying to remind myself that what I am getting rid of is just 'stuff' and that we will appreciate the space more than all the things we aren't using anymore.  I put the baby stuff on CL and am going to have one hell of a garage sale this spring.  I also just hope that what I am getting rid of goes to people who will really appreciate getting things that are like new and will enjoy using them for their babies.  It helps to soften the blow - at least a little bit.

I cried packing up things to give to a friend!  We are 99% su're we are done too, and it is hard.  especially looking at the newborn clothes thinking where did my little babies go!

As far as selling your baby things try having a garage sale, craigs list, or finding a local consignment shop that gives you cash in exchange for your items. If you opt for either of the first two, i would say ask 70 to 75 percent less than the original price of the item, depending on its condition. If you give to a consignment shop they will tell you what they will give you for it as most wont bargain. Good luck.

I was thinking half price since even though everything is in good shape it's all been though two kids and is just over two years old.
Plus I would never buy used at 75 the original price when you can always get it brand new for 80 of retail.

Not 80 percent off but you pay 80 percent so 20 percent off at toys r us with a coupon

I'm sorry I miss read the pp I thought they meant sell it for 25 percent off, I think asking 75 percent off is a bit low it gives you no where to move

I understand your pain. I am one and done because DH has two kids from a previous relationship so I am having a really hard time putting away her old stuff.

I have been posting it on a local mom's Facebook group and I sell for roughly half price for gear (bumbo, bassinet, etc) and I sell the clothes for $40-50 a box. If the is a really cute outfit I will post it separately, usually $5-10.
