This is in reference to the mean girls thing. I am mostly a lurker. I come here occasionally to check in on other questions people have to see if I might learn something. I am far too busy in real life to become a bronze poster and there is a sense of alienation for those who are not popular on an Internet message board. Lets be serious. Not everyone is bored enough to sift through your what's for dinner and my mil is so annoying posts to find out the real hot button issues. I will be going to google from now on. This is high school drama for those who want to feel popular and perhaps werent in real life? The end.

yeah, it's really amazing that some folks feel compelled to respond to all of these "hot button" or overasked questions posts just to be rude.  but in all fairness, it's probably really boring to sit around all day refreshing the board looking for new posts to read/respond to.  it's got to be very annoying when new posts show up and they realize they have read them (and snarked about them) soooo many times already!

OP, I tend to agree with you. The beauty of a message board is that a person should be able to use it as much or as little as she is able or wants to. I understand when people get snarky but think people need to be less sensitive. Overall though, I agree with you.

funny you say "we."  op didn't call anyone out by name. with the exception of a couple folks who responded, tho, i'd have to say most of the ladies who have replied are, in fact, who the post is directed at.  it's so awesome that all someone has to say is "gosh, some folks on here are mean" and the ehem bishes essentially come out an identify themselves.  hehe

I'm also not a "popular" poster, but I find these posts ridiculous. If your real life is so fantastic, why do you feel the need to make any statement on these boards at all? It's completely absurd to me that your life is so fantastic you can judge everyone here when you know none of us. I have a job, friends, hobbies and a wonderful kid...I also have spare time sometimes. Gifs are funny. Get over yourself.

Yuck. I so don't want to be a part of this, but since you're now attacking me...

I do all the things you do (work out, cook, clean, blahhhhhhhh), have a baby (shock!) just like you, and am also in grad school (where I'm getting a 4.0), and play a team sport, which takes up a great deal of my time (roller derby). Please take care not to fall off that high as hell horse of yours. 

We all welcome differing opinions. To be honest, I don't think there is ever a "dramatic" thread that doesn't involve someone who doesn't know our "frequent posters" getting all butt-hurt over a smart a$$ remark. Smart a$$es are the spice of life. People don't always act how you want them to. Move along.  

On the topic of fake friends, these women have been here for me as much nearly any "real" friend I have, during pregnancy related issues and beyond. And before you ramble on about that being somehow pathetic, maybe you should just high tail it, because I'm over your better-than-you attitude (the one you're accusing others of). I appreciate these women. 

Any group of women will get snarky with each other now and again. If you don't want to be a part of it, here's a shocking revelation: YOU DON'T HAVE TO. You made yourself a part of it. 

This is complete silliness. "More in real life things..." Who asked you what I should do with the time I have? I'll be sure to bake a cake during my next MOTN feeding, so I can be productive, like you.
