Getting anxious!!

Hey all! I am getting really anxious, DH and I mostly I decided back when we found out we were expecting that we would not make it "Facebook official" until after 12 weeks. Well that will be this coming Saturday!!! I can't believe it's here!!!! I can't wait to "come out" and share our wonderful news esp with my coworkers. HOWEVER, I don't have my 12 week u/s until tues next week...should we wait a few days more?! Or announce and then say picture to follow. Hmmm...tough decisions...opinions?!

Ps: we already had a good 7 wk u/s as well as a strong heartbeat at almost 10 wks by Doppler in the office.

    I have my 12 week scan at 12 weeks 5 days and will be waiting until then to announce on FB.

    Can't wait to announce, but would rather wait the 5 days so I can see baby with a good heartbeat again first.

    i'm superstitious and a worry-wort so I would probably wait until I got the US.  but, if you decide to tell, more power to you!! congrats!

    I would wait till I have the 12 week US.....

    "Picture to follow"- meaning you are putting an US pic on FB??? I personally think that is way TMI to put out for the world to see.......plus, no one really likes those pictures Indifferent except maybe your family.......

    just sayin.....

    I would personally wait, but I had to "untell" friends and co-workers a few days after I let the word out at 12 weeks when a missed M/C was discovered with my first PG so I'm probably a bit biased.  I am so glad I didn't have to un-announce on FB too, that would have been terrible!

    Oh I feel the same way I cannot wait to tell everyone and make it FB official.....I am personally waiting for my 12wk or in my case my 13wk u/s so I can post the pic on FB.....I love seeing those pics it seems to make it more real I have a few friends already that past this stage and posted the pic I love it.

    I just read about someone on here that just had a u/s and the baby stopped growing and had no heartbeat at 11 weeks and 6 days. After reading that, I guess I'm going to be a little more cautious and wait.

    We want to make sure to wait until after the ultrasound at 12 weeks 6 days to confirm everything is ok first before announcing to the world
