Target Brand HPT?

It's been awhile since I've been here but I've got a question for those who are still awake.  I stopped at Target today and picked up one of their Up&Up brand tests and was planning on testing in the morning.  However, I'm reading online old comments saying lots of women had false positives.  Does anyone have any experience with their One Step Pregnancy Test?  Can't decide if I should try it in the morning or return and spend the extra bucks on a name brand.  My first thought was a test is a test...but now I'm wondering.  FYI - AF is due Friday, so I'm well aware that it could be a BFN tomorrow and I could still be pregnant.  Thank you!

Target is so annoying when it comes to returning anything that I would just pee on it instead.   I had good results with the super cheap kind from the Dollar Store that cost $1!  I only bought a "good" one to confirm when a BFP came up.  With both kids, for whatever reason I didn't believe it until a digital confirmed it with words.   Good luck!!

Hahaha!  I was just thinking that same thing about returning stuff to Target...and figured if I got a BFP, I'd wait a couple days and get a more reliable one.  Thanks!

I got a target brand one once and didn't realize that it was actually a blue dye test until I peed on it. Hence the false positives you're reading about. I wouldn't bother returning though.

I used Up&Up ones that were pink dye (it was a three pack and the box was white and red/orange if I remember correctly). I def got negative tests before my BFP (not the same month) so for me I thought it was reliable. Good luck!

No experience with the target test but I can say the Dollar Tree cheapies are very reliable.

That is the one I used when I got my BFP. No issues here..

Thanks all for the feedback.  It is a blue dye test...and it was a BFN this morning.  Considering I was testing a few days early I halfway expected it.
